2017 Cosby Titans baseball prospectus:

Cosby Baseball has made the Regional Tournament every year since it opening season in 2006.  Will that trend continue in 2017?

Here is what the team will have for this upcoming season:

Cosby has a good mix of young and older talent. The lineup will be a mixture of under classmen and seniors, including All State second team OF senior Brandon Miltenberger (.322), All conference second team utility – senior Ryan Clawson (.439), Junior catcher Ethan Williams (.345) and senior second baseman Brandon Rash (.350).  Pitching will be challenging throughout all VHSL conferences with teams trying to adhere to the new pitch count quotas.  Cosby’s rotation has depth, including seniors Grant Squyars (4-2, .087 ERA), Ryan Clawson (1-1, .078 ERA) and Joe Hunt (4-1, 1.77 ERA).  Juniors Brady Hart and Ethan Williams as well several sophomore prospects will each vying for innings.  Sophomore shortstop Cade Swisher will be leading the Titan infield defense.

The Cosby “boys of Summer” open up the season Tuesday, 3/14 against Conference for Manchester – Game time is 4:30PM!
