Multiple Teams · FALL SPORTS CONDITIONING /TRYOUT / PRACTICE INFORMATION


The “Fall” season sports will conduct their season starting in February and running until early April.  Information on conditioning, tryouts, and practices are listed by sport below.

All athletes must have a valid VHSL physical, a concussion form, and a Risk of Assumption Insurance form on file to participate in conditioning and/or tryout.  The physical must be dated on or after May 1, 2020.  The forms can be turned in to Coach Swartz or given directly to the coach of your team.  Please do NOT try to leave your forms in the main office at Cosby.  You can download and print the form from this link: FORMS

All athletes MUST follow the COVID-19 protocols and procedures put in place by CCPS and Cosby High School.  Masks must be worn at all times while on campus unless directly engaged in conditioning or practice.  Social distancing is required.  Athletes MUST bring a labelled water bottle, towel, and hand sanitizer.  No sharing of personal equipment is permitted.

A health assessment of all coaches and players will be given when arriving at practices.  Temperatures will be taken and health questions asked.  Athletes may be told to go home if CCPS COVID-19 protocols are not met.

Please plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes before practice begins and be picked up / leave campus directly after the conditioning session or practice.
