O’Shea’s Walkoff Picture Perfect Ending In Cosby Titans Varsity’s Victory Over Clover Hill

A walk-off single led Cosby Titans Varsity past Clover Hill 11-10 on Thursday. The game was tied at ten with Cosby Titans Varsity batting in the bottom of the seventh when Jillian O’Shea singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
A nine-run lead in the third inning was just enough for Cosby Titans Varsity to hold off Clover Hill for the victory. Clover Hill tallied nine runs in the failed comeback. Sanaah Sonnier, Jess Cronthwaite, Allison Crum, Bri Brown, Ally Latino, and Genevieve Brunner fueled the rally with RBIs.
Cosby Titans Varsity captured the lead in the second inning. Jessica Caminiti singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Cosby Titans Varsity put up seven runs in the third inning. Taylor Norton, Jenise Kline, Leah Butts, O’Shea, and Sophie Tully each had RBIs in the frame.
Norton was credited with the victory for Cosby Titans Varsity. She surrendered ten runs on ten hits over seven innings, striking out three and walking zero.
Latino took the loss for Clover Hill. She surrendered three runs on six hits over four innings, striking out two.
Cosby Titans Varsity scattered 14 hits in the game. Tully, Norton, and O’Shea all collected multiple hits for Cosby Titans Varsity. Tully went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Cosby Titans Varsity in hits.
Clover Hill racked up ten hits on the day. Cronthwaite and Tabitha Fisher each had multiple hits for Clover Hill.
